Founded in 2023 by artistic duo Marie Polo and Edouard Burgeat, 229 LAB is a showroom and art laboratory showcasing high-end creative projects for a variety of luxurious brands in Art, Fashion and Design in a fully renovated Haussmanian building in the vibrant centre of Paris art and fashion district Place Vendôme.

Story
Marie Polo is the co-founder of 229 LAB. With experience in fashion and luxury events, creativity consulting and curation, she has also developed a broad international network of engaged artists, brands, experts and creatives. A community of inspiring minds she wishes to connect in order to amplify their co-creations and impact.
French artist, filmmaker, performer and healer who has also been gaining recognition for her immersive screening concept (HUBRIS, TUNEKO). Marie Polo is also a dance and holistic massage therapist who offers healing sessions of mind-body-heart reconnection.

Edouard Burgeat is a French artist born in Paris.
He studied fine art & photography in Paris & spacial & product design London at the Central Saint Martins school for Arts and Design, from which he graduated in 2012. It explains his diverse practice, which incorporates large installation, photography, design, sculpture and drawing. He works on various projects with cultural institutions such as the Goethe institute or Palais de Tokyo, with luxury clients such as Louis Vuitton or Comme des Garçons and galleries such as Olivier Waltman, 35-37, Ground Effect, Kyotography
In 2014 he founded Studio-NoD, a design studio where art and design meet for artistic direction and set design. and in 2023 he co-founded with his company & Marie Polo the 229.LAB, a old lawyer office transformed into a artistic laboratory in the heart of Paris.
