In a world fractured by forced migrations, shifting borders and the collapse of certainty, DISSONANT SHELTERS explores the fragile architectures—both physical and psychological—we build to survive instability. This group exhibition brings together artists working across disciplines to examine shelter not as refuge alone, but as contested territory : layered with memory, rupture and resistance.
Through photography, sculpture, video, sound, installation and performance, the show confronts the tensions between protection and exposure, permanence and precarity. From reimagined domestic forms to disassembled geographies, the works in DISSONANT SHELTERS speak to the uneasy spaces we inhabit when belonging is fractured by exile, colonial residue or social exclusion.
