CASH ONLY - A proposal by @musicforeggplant_official for 229 Lab, with : Emile Barret, Regina Demina, Baptiste Gratzmuller, Robert Ricca and Tristan Savoy.
What remains after the deluge?
Scattered textile montages, a vague mobile hideaway, and the cold smile of an app. The expression ‘pay in cash’ originated from the Middle Ages, where spice trade dominated the globalized economy. Today, contactless payments clash with vanishing cash, found only in illicit markets or diplomatic pouches. After the ransacking, all that’s left is a sell-off, suspicion, and a smokescreen, perhaps even a new multinational.
Join us to witness the group’s final episode, their programmed dissolution, as we strive to put our performances into perspective.
